Brian Devenney

Mr. Devenney is Head of Origination at Merit Air, responsible for leading efforts to establish long-term relationships with global leasing companies and airlines and identify opportunities to provide them with tailored capital solutions. 

Prior to joining the Merit AirFinance team, Mr. Devenney was Senior Vice President at Perseus Aviation, and previously Merx Aviation. During his time there, he managed all origination and remarketing activities in Europe and the Americas. Prior to that, he held transaction underwriting, lessor origination and airline marketing roles at Infinity Transportation, a leasing platform backed by Global Atlantic Financial Group. His experience also encompasses transaction underwriting at Aircastle. Mr. Devenney began his career working on the Structured Finance team at EY in New York. 

Mr. Devenney received his B.B.S. in Accounting & Finance from the University of Limerick. He later earned his MS in Finance from Fairfield University, where he was the recipient of the prestigious Rev. John M. Conlisk Scholarship.
